C L A R E T T E .
The Vampiric Vampire-Hunter.
Clarette is not your average girl; in fact, she is not even a “girl” at all, in the sense that she is not human. Clarette is, and has always been, a vampire. Despite the conventional explanation that one is changed from their previous form to that of a vampire by another’s bite, this was not the case for her. She merely awoke into the world as such.
Clarette is thirteen, of course, which is a constant age and will never change. She is a rather free-spirited person, choosing to express herself in the way that she dresses and the music that she listens to. She has a love of graphic arts, which thus extends to her choice of graphic t-shirts, pants, and other such articles of clothing. She despises jewellery with silver or gold in it, as she believes them to be ugly. Instead, she tends to wear accessories with strings and fabric rather than metal. No matter what she is wearing, her beloved skull pendant is always tied around her neck or around the accessory around her neck.
She enjoys wearing goggles around her head, so that those talking to her will have something to look at, rather than staring at her expressionless face. She doesn’t care much for taming her hair, so it lies rather haphazardly atop her head, but not in a way that is extraordinarily messy.
Perhaps the strangest thing about Clarette is that her eyes are never visible. Rather, a dark shadow seems to fall upon her face in the exact position where her eyes are. It is uncertain why that is.
Despite her appearance, and whatever stereotypes may follow that, she enjoys all aspects of the musical world, and plays woodwind instruments quite well.
Though she has never experienced life as a normal human, Clarette possesses a jealousy as deep as despair that eats away at her heart (figuratively, of course, as she does not have one) toward the other girls of her “age”. She despises what she is and all she stands for, and thus has set her mind to the goal of destroying every last one of her kind in the hopes that no one shall ever face the same fate as her.
She met Ares by chance, while tracking a vampire that she had carefully watched for the past two weeks. With similar goals and very different strengths, they agree to work together to achieve the ends they had set for themselves. And so, the girl-vampire-who-hunts-vampires and the werewolf-who-hates-werewolves begin their tale of decimating every last vampire and werewolf on the planet.

This concept randomly flew into my head yesterday while eating dinner (which was delicious, by the way), and I couldn't help but go through with it. xD
I mean, what's there not to like about a somewhat-crazed thirteen-year-old vampire-girl who wants to kill all vampires?
Does she look kind of familiar to you? Maybe you're thinking of Rosuto Reikon. There is a reason for their resemblance (no, they're not related!)...
In fact, the reason why they look so similar is because they were both based off the same character, my very first human avatar on Subeta!
...I have to say, I quite like Clarette's shirt much more than Rosuto's. Maybe Rosuto will steal it for a while. I mean, borrow the idea. -cough- 8D;;
Rosuto's not so much into the whole graphic art shirt kind of thing, more like simple and yet intricate at the same time. This shirt is similar, sans swirls and more abstract heart-thingy in the middle. Plus blood. xD
Ah well.
...
Now I'm curious what would happen if they ever met.

(Also, I agree with you about Vampire Knight. It is way too confusing and the characters are hard to identify and I do not know who is who except that Yuki is Yuki and Kaname is Kaname. x3)
Being born a vampire is pretty cool. Especially one with no heart.
(My natural-born vampires all have hearts... because they're heart-ful that way. xD -fail-)
Hm... Maybe I should start posting up some of my vampire concepts again... Hm...
