♥ Our Big Umbrella ♥
Standing under my umbrella On a grey, rainy day I saw a friend up ahead Standing in the rain I ventured over and So I said, so I said "Whatcha doing, Standing in the rain?" Then he said "I'm just waiting For a way to stay dry." So I smiled and said "Come and stand with me Under my big umbrella." So he did. Standing under our umbrella On a grey, rainy day We saw a friend up ahead Standing in the rain We ventured over and So we said, so we said "Whatcha doing, Standing in the rain?" Then she said "I'm just waiting For a way to stay dry." So we smiled and said "Come and stand with us Under our big umbrella." So she did. Standing under our umbrella On a grey, rainy day We saw two friends up ahead Standing in the rain We ventured over and So we said, so we said "Whatcha doing, Standing in the rain?" Then they said "We're just waiting For a way to stay dry." So we smiled and said "Come and stand with us Under our big umbrella." So they did. Then she said "I'm just dancing, Dancing in the rain." So we stared and said "Why would you bother Dancing in the rain? It's cold and wet And no place to stay." She stopped for a moment And looked us in the eyes "I'm dancing in the rain Because it's something to do Because it's something fun Because it's good to be different." Our silence was only broken When she added "Care to join me?" So we did. --::-- The mysterious, "special" picture that I mentioned months and months ago but never seemed to complete has finally been finished and unveiled! This goes out to my very super speshul awesomesauce fantabular friends with whom I fill my life with awesumm! Thank you so much, you know who you are, for being the light in my life!  From left to right, here we have:  ~YukikoSama  ~Suxinn ~Inkshadow (me!) My boyfriend~ O:  ~winterxstar Takara-chann! :3 This is my little (ironically, the picture is huge) thank-you for everything you mean to me. Poem was written by me, of course. <3 You can partially see the poem in the picture as well, on the right-hand side. About the picture, I actually started this on April 23, but once I got around to the shading, I thought I'd be a smarty-butt and try to do some realistic shading. My attempt wasn't too bad, but being so time-consuming in comparison to my usual style put me off until two days ago, when I thought it was about time I went back and finished this up. Thus, sadly, you do not see any realistic fur. However, as I've said before, I do love my new style of shading! x3 I added in a few textures there to make things a little less boring, because face it: I'm not a pro at painting in little details yet, and the stone path? Awesome right there. xD Takara gave me a bit of trouble, near the end. I wasn't sure how, exactly, I should draw her "dancing" after I drew everyone else, but I suppose this will do. She looks happy enough, at least. C: I have to say, though, that our fursonas seem to all match one another. That just makes us 5x more amazing! 8D Overall, I had a lot of fun drawing this piece, especially because it was one of my favourite concepts! And oh look! This also fits one of 100 Themes Challenge themes! O:  30.
